[Plugin: RSS in Page] Cache

  • Hi,
Great functionality, but i have one problem. I use a feedservice that I can only poll once in 30 minutes.

How does this plugin work? I noticed that changes in the feed (at the feedservice) are shown immediately. So I suspect every time a page is shown the feed is requested. But can it be cached somehow so it only goes to the feed once in 30 minutes for example?
This will also benefit the speed of the page load.

  • I would very much appreciate this feature as well.
Science news are not poping up every minute like World news, so caching would let me not wait for 10 seconds before my feeds page is displayed….

Server cache (user independent) would be good. Also a flush button for admins even better
