It used to work, now it doesn’t. Does adding

<link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”Blog Feed” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘rss_url’); ?>” />

affect the rss?

I used it in conjunction with mailchimp.

I’ve tried to clear cache and refresh but no luck.

Thanks for your reply, I’ve fixed this issue.

In wordpress rss codex page here http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds

I’ve settled using rdf_url instead of rss2_url or rss_url in the header. The image seems to appear now in mailchimp rss to email newsletter.
