[Plugin: RSS Digest] Replace CSS link rel=stylesheet tag with wp_enqueue_style()

  • Hiya,

Great work on this plugin – I am evaluating it as a replacement for Twitter Digest/Twitter Tools. Based on what I have read, I expect your plugin to be far more robust and reliable.

May I ask for one simple enhancement – can you replace all instances where <link rel=”stylesheet”> is used with the function call wp_enqueue_style().

That way minifying plugins like Better WordPress Minify will be able to minify rss-digest.css.

    Thanks.

  • Since I wrote that message, I implemented this enhancement, and another feature to select whether you want the RSS item title to include a hyperlink back to the original source. I have emailed you a link to my updated version via your website.

I’ve responded to your email, but wanted to note here I’m planning to incorporate your suggestings.
