Martin,
I’ve only just gained access to the ‘live’ site, but not yet had the chance to upload.
HOWEVER, when I was posting to you before, I was not at home office and now that I am it works fine – offline, in MAMP.
There’s been some issues with things before at the network I was on and, unless you have changed much of the coding, the plugin probably worked all along with the network being the real issue.
Thanks again, it’s great to see it working. Sorry for the hassle, but I hope it maybe added a little something to the plugin that will help someone else.
All the best
Mike
Mike,
It was very helpful! It required me to sort out the error reporting in the plug-in. So thank you! 🙂
Martin
Hello Martin,
Thanks for writing this great plugin. However I am having some issue.
I have 2 separate installations of WP on the same domain. The plugin work perfectly on one site while giving “Problem retrieving data from Twitter” error on the other one. Here are the links for working and non-working versions.
Working Great: http://mydealstuff.com/beaustralia/ ( You can see the outcome at the bottom just before the footer )
Non Working: http://www.mydealstuff.com/golfclub/ ( You can see the outcome at the bottom just before the footer )
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks
Hi,
There’s a solution on the FAQ page that might help.
Try installing the Core Control plug-in and disabling cURL.
Martin
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your prompt response. I have already tried Core Control Plugin and disabled the cURL with no luck. However, I will give it some more tries.
Thanks you so much
Have you tried changing the Rotating Tweets SSL settings?
I notice that it has worked (at least briefly) at some point in the past because it has picked up some tweets and stored them in the cache. So you clearly did something at some point that worked! 🙂
I notice that your pinterest plug-in has the same problem, which, assuming both installations are on the same server, does suggest a WordPress or server set-up problem.
