Everything works perfectly except only Administrators can see the new post types on the dashboard, they are not visible for Editors. If I disable Role Scoper the new post types are visible on the dashboard.

Not having much luck figuring out which plugin isn’t working correctly, so any pointers on how to figure out what is happening would be greatly appreciated.

Role Scoper forces each custom post type to require a unique set of capabilities and does not assume WP Editors should edit all types.

You can define access as follows:

    * go to Roles > General

    * give the group “[WP Editor]” an editor role for each desired post type (“Thing Editor”, “Doohickie Editor”, etc.)

Works great. I suppose I really should put a bit more effort into understanding how the plugin works. So much to do, so little time.

    Thank you!

I’m not sure what you mean by “there is no option available when I go and edit the categories of VIDEO posts”

If you mean they don’t show up in Roles > Options > Realm, see the note there behind the “problems with types / taxonomies” link.

How are you registering your custom types and taxonomies?
