[Plugin: Rich Category Editor] Parsing HTML Elements?

My Client needed an unordered list inside some category descriptions, I installed this plug-in so they could do so.

From what I’m seeing, the function – category_description(); – is parsing the HTML…so in the editor (in the admin), you still see the effects of the HTML (eg. bullets on the li elements), but it never actually occurs on the front-end.

Note: I also have ‘TinyMCE Advanced’ installed, could these two plug-ins conflict?

I know I could probably edit the function myself, but I’d rather not directly edit the WordPress core functions (just hook new commands instead).
