  • Thanks for such a incredible plugin. I’m loving it!

Everything went well with the installation, the only problem i’m having is that I can’t change the localization for this plugin; there is folder called “Languages” inside the plugin folder.. I was wondering if there is a way to change the language for the whole plugin (even in the administration).

Also did a backup of resume-submissions-job-postings.pot and copy pasted the contents of resume-submissions-job-postings-es_ES.po and it only changed certains areas inside the administration.. any thoughts?

I’m up for translating it to spanish!

  • Hum, i think only 10% of my plugin is in french after the edit of the .pot file.

For example, in the submission page, only the 3 first criteria were translated : Firstname, lastname and Addresse1 (Prénom, Nom, Adresse)

On the backoffice plugin, nothing was translated :s
You can find my .po / .mo in french here : http://www.dublanchekevin.fr/resume-submissions-job-postings-fr_FR.rar

Ok. I will update the .pot when I complete this current update.
    Thanks.

I can also translate the plugin into Dutch, if you like, but I have the same problems as mentioned in this topic.

That would be cool and again I will see if updating the .pot fixes this.

In update 2.5, I updated the .pot. If that doesn’t work, then I may have another solution.

Hello kandrews! I’m using WordPress in branzilian portuguese (pt_BR) translation and the plugin pot file has not been effective at all.

In the WordPress dashboard (wp-admin) everything is in pt_BR, except the texts related to the plugin. I saved my translation as pt_BR.po and also tried resume-submissions-job-postings-pt_BR.po but it did not work.

    Any suggestions?

    By the way, great plugin!

    Hi gperboni,

I just updated the language file .pot file.
You can either just re-download the plugin, or grab the .pot file from the 2.5.2 version or trunk.

You may have to translate a few more things.

If this doesn’t work, just let me know.

    Still not working. Any suggestions?

Some strings work, but apparently only those who already work in Wordpres dashboard (“Settings”, “First Name”, “Last Name”, etc… by the way, they work by itself, I’ve not translated it). Those i’ve translated are not working.

Do I need to change something somewhere in the code?
pt_BR.po is the correct file name?

Yes, same behaviour as my installation!

    Any thoughts?

I have an idea, but I am still doing a little more research.
I plan on having an update released Tues or Wed.

    Great! Thanks a bunch!

Cannot change a thing translation-wise. Get this in CodeStyling Localization:

Error: The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: resume-submissions-job-postings
Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching!
This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch.

    🙁

Yeah, I am currently working to resolve this issue.
I don’t have a time table for this though as other projects are consuming my time.
