# Plugin requiring write access

 * My site is on a host (Pantheon) where write access to the file system is heavily
   locked down. When I activate this plugin, I start to see this message at the 
   top of every admin screen:
 * > To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server.
 * Does the Video Gallery plugin require continuous write access to my file system?
   If not, it’s making WordPress think it does. If so, I cannot use the plugin —
   it is impossible to enable write access on my production server.

 * Update: When this message is appearing, the “Verify” button for playlists does
   not work — it just spins forever. It seems that the plugin does need some kind
   of write access to function, though I can’t imagine what it would be.

 * Update #2: If I generate the shortcode in an environment where SFTP is enabled,
   then paste it into a page where it is not, the videos and playlists load just
   fine. Apparently it is only the video verifier that requires write access.
 * Additional information I forgot to mention earlier: I have disabled the plugin’s
   cache in the settings.

 * I found my solution through the Pantheon documentation — this is a known issue
   with some plugins, including YotuWP, and they have published a workaround for
