# Plugin Request – Categories Related

 * First of all visit my blog :- [http://techdx69.com](http://techdx69.com)
 * Then you can see, that there are a list of categories under “Personal”. Right?
 * Then, the thing I want is, some of the categories like,
    – Personal Lifestyles–
   Personal GFX Designs
 * to appear on “Personal”
 * And I need some other categories, to appear on another thing like “Personal” 
   but with a different name below.
 * In short,
 * I want something which basically looks somehow like this:-
 * Personal
    …………………….. Personal GFX Designs Persona Lifestyles
 * Mobiles Related Stuff
    ……………………. N-GAGE 2.0 Games Tips and tricks of mobiles
 * Poetry
    …………………… Mysterious Experiences(Poem/Quote)
 * Some sort of thing like that, is there anyone who can help me, as the only thing
   i can do is one category like Personal.. I can’t make more than one thing showing
   on the sidebar.
 * Please help, thanks in advance.. Really appreciate it.. 🙂

 * Create category Personal.
 * Create category Personal GFX Designs, and make Personal be the parent category
 * Create category Personal Lifestyles, and make Personal be the parent category
 * Then make sure your use of the [template tag](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags),
   [wp_list_categories()](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_categories),
   uses the **hierarchical=1** argument.
 * Note about ‘child’ categories:
    By WordPress standards, ANY category that has
   been designated a Parent category is not meant to be checked in the category 
   hierarchy when writing posts. Meaning, only the latest generation category should
   be checked. Think of it like this, only the youngest generation gets the action.
 * It’s okay to have multiple categories assigned a post, as long as the other categories
   are not designated as parents.

 * Yeah I kinda get your point, but still, right after I’ve made both Personal GFX
   Designs and Personal Lifestyles, their parent category as Personal.
 * I don’t seem to get it in this way:-
 * Personal
    …………………….. Personal GFX Designs Persona Lifestyles
 * Mobiles Related Stuff
    ……………………. N-GAGE 2.0 Games Tips and tricks of mobiles
 * ——-
 * I mean thats exactly how I want it to show on the sidebar. So are there any ways
   I can do so, which can make it appear as shown above?
