 * Hi, you could take a look at this plugin as a starting point, the notes point
   out though that this is an alpha version,

   hope it helps. mike.

 * I know nothing about php unfortunatelly. Just need a few lines of code, I guess.
   That’s it.

 * For actual WordPress plugins, try reading the documentation on Plugins.
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins](http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins)
 * You don’t really need to know PHP to be able to manage plugins, but it’s still
   important to understand how they bolt on-to WordPress.
 * And in answer to your actual question, the first thing I’d like to say is: why
   would you need a plugin to embed your yShout into WordPress when (as you’ve said)
   when
 * > Just a few lines of code
 *  are necessary?
 * If that is the case, you can probably use sidebar widgets by creating a text
   widget and including the HTML code for yShout. I had a quick look at their website,
   and it doesn’t give any indication of how you include the shoutbox on your site
   but this is a common method.
 * And finally, since yShout is “donation-ware”, why not just contact the developer
   and ask him the question?
