 * Hi all
 * Yesterday I installed a plugin of which I forgot the name (yeah, pretty dumb
   I admit) and decided against installation. I removed the plugin together with
   any leftovers through FTP. After that I noticed some weird tags in the plugin
   repository.
 * When I want to search for plugins now from the admin panel, I see only these
   tags:
 * 2 3 > f h y
 * So now I’m stuck 🙁
    Tried several things like reinstalling certain parts of
   the /WP-admin directory, but that didn’t help either. Tried plugin.install.php
   and plugins.php, but the result is still the same.
 * Don’t want to reinstall the whole thing again, so any help is much appreciated
   🙂
    (Even tried the repair URL and that performed well, but didn’t resolve the
   problem. A Google search turned up nothing at all)
 * Any ideas on this one?
 * Edwin

 * FYI, the Plugin Repository is at [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/)
   Are you referring to your plugin’s folder? What exactly did you remove via FTP?

 * Hi Esmi
 * Thanks for replying so quickly 🙂
 * Sorry about being somewhat vague about the plugins. I meant this URL
    [http://www.imofx.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php](http://www.imofx.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php)
   Here I usually search for new plugins and add them. That’s where those strange
   tags appear, right below the search field.
 * I removed the former instances of plugin.php and plugin.install.php.
    Replacing
   them with new ones from a freshly downloaded version of WP3.5 Thought that might
   do the trick 😉

 * Hi Esmi
 * Been trying a few things but no matter what I try, I still have these weird tags
   and can not search through the WP.org plugin database
 * Hoping for a simple solution 😉
