  • Right now I’m not able to get this to work at all, but I really need a plugin that can search tag and categories. Reading through some of the other posts, I see it can be query_posts causing a problem so heres my search.php and searchform.php.. maybe something can be seen that I cant see.

Also, I would like to add the search directly to my template file how do I do this? The theme I’m using positions the search with widgets and I can’t get it exactly where I want it doing it that way

    Thanks! The plugin looks promising!

You can add the search wherever you want. Just copy the search form code created by the widget and put it wherever you want. The critical bit is the input field named ‘s’ which contains the search terms.

Nothing particularly wrong with your search template. So how does it not work?
