[resolved] [Plugin: Register IP - Multiste] Problem with Codepress Admin Columns (6 posts)

I'm not sure exactly where the issue lies, but I thought I'd report the issue anyway. When using this plugin, in combination with the Codepress Admin Columns plugin, the IP Address column displays, but none of the IP Address show up.

If I disable the Codepress Admin Columns the IP Addresses will display again.

I will report this issue in the other plugin's support area as well.

  2. My psychic powers tell me it's probably a clash of column names. I'll poke around and see if I can untangle that one!

Psychic huh? Well, let me know what you find out ;-)

  4. Looks like their plugin overwrites the column names, replacing them with their own, but since I'm (correctly ;) ) adding a column on, and they're only messing with the defaults, it clashes.

I suspect they'd have this issue with any plugin that 'added on' a column. Be nice if you could turn it off for users.

True, my column plugin overwrites the default value for added user columns. Which it should not do ofcourse! Doh...

I have a fix ready for this in the next release ( 1.4.6 and up). This will no longer cause my plugin to overwrite any default values which are set by other plugins - including Register IP - Multisite :)

Thanks for looking into it Mika.

  6. Wicked cool! :D
