[Plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails] Does this plugin delete old thumbnails?

    Nope because when you insert a single image into a post, the URL to the image is hard-coded. Removing the old thumbails would result in broken images.

    Duh, I should’ve thought of that.

    So then it’s probably a good idea to go through the uploads folder from time to time and delete file sizes no longer in use. Wouldn’t you say?

    Only if space is an issue. Usually it isn’t.
