[Plugin: Redirection] Redirect all URLs on domain to home page

  • I am shutting down one of my blogs but am not yet ready to remove the whole site or delete all the old content. But it’s an extremely popular blog, so I’d like to simply redirect ALL incoming URLs to any page or post on the site to the home page, which has been replaced with a farewell message.

That homepage farewell has no links to any other part of the site. However, if I manually enter one of the old URLs to a page or post, it of course goes straight to it. I don’t want ANY of that old content to still be visible.

How can I do this, either with this plugin or with .htaccess? I tried a redirect in .htaccess, but I got infinite loop errors.
