Not compatible with WP Network? (10 posts)

Doesn't work at all when installed in a WP Network

WordPress redirection lead to a 500 error due to too many redirections
Apache redirection cannot even be installed. Nothing is written to the redirection file (called .redirections and not .htaccess)

Seems the Ajax is broken in the admin panel (protected by SSL)

What do you mean by WP Network?

  3. I think perhaps he means MultiSite? http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

That's correct, multi-site has been renamed Network for WP 3.x.

  5. No, not quite :) WPMU (multiUSER) was renamed MultiSite. That would be why the forum is named 'MultiSite' and not 'Network' ;) But yeah, MultiSite runs a network of sites.

Given that the plugin abrogates the need for .htaccess, I wonder if that's causing collisions with duplicated rules.

It's probably the case for the WordPress module, but the Apache module doesn't work either. Nothing gets written to the file.

    I've tested this plugin:

And redirection does work there. Maybe it's worth taking a look at how it does it?

    I have more info.
The 500 errors happens for logged in users.
The redirection simply doesn't work (404) for all other users.

The redirection worked for one URL only with the other plugin...It's really disconcerting.
