  • Is the Redirection module compatible with IIS? I am running a 3.3.2 WordPress site on a windows 2003 IIS 6 box. No problems. Installed Redirection 2.2.13 from the Plugins Add New link, and Activated…no problems. Created several 301 redirects for single file and directories…no problems…creating them. Redirection does not seem to be doing anything though, just a typical 404 page not found error returned if the directory does not exist. Directory Listing Denied error returned if I create the directory (typical IIS responses). If the page exists that is returned if not a 404 error returned.
I have deactivated – reactivated, deleted – reinstalled (interestingly the deletion seems to keep the tables), deleted the ‘Apache’ module – my thinking here is that with that module installed the app might see that there is no valid .htaccess file and fail. Nothing helped. I am not missing any obvious setting somewhere am I?
I wouldn’t mind giving you (John) access to the wp admin if you want to poke around.

This is a development environment for a client. If necessary I will try everything out on their live server which is an Apache server.
I’m thinking it will probably work there but would like to see it in action on the dev site.
Thanks for any help on this.
