Support » Plugin: ReciPress » [Plugin: ReciPress] Add a shortcode to one of the fields

  • Is it possible to change a field of the recipress to accept php shortcodes?

For example we try this: [lockit]This is a recipe description[/lockit]

and we get all the input as output.. So the shortcodes are not working.
If we add html, it is working! How to make them accept those shortcodes?

We do not want to change the source because actually we are going to use a facebook like locker who wraps around text dynamically and this cannot be added in the code.

There are no plans of supporting the use of shortcodes in recipress meta fields. Your best bet is to adjust the plugin in some way or to use jquery and the DOM to add the necessary html to the field you want.
