# [Plugin: Recent Posts Plus] won't only show 3 posts

 * I notice that the plugin seems to be ignoring the “Number of Posts to Show” box.
 * I don’t know when this arose as we have only recently decided to shorten the 
   list of recent posts shown.
 * I am using this on a page, using “Widgets on Pages” (so it is within the page,
   not on the sidebar), here:

 * Oh, hang on, I’ve just cured it by changing the setting in the WP_query options
   box to
    `"posts_per_page": "3",` I guess the settings in that box override the
   settings in the boxes above. Resolved.
