[resolved] [Plugin: Really simple Facebook Twitter share buttons] Facebook Developers says the plugin is comple (2 posts)

    I had 18 new likes today on my website, I have tried pushing the "share" button but it doesn't work, nothing to actually share. I would like these "likes" to not go away...

    Like Button Warnings That Should Be FixedAdmins And App ID Missing: fb:admins and fb:app_id tags are missing. These tags are necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high clickthrough rate.
    Like Button Tag Missing: og:title is missing. The og:title meta tag is necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high clickthrough rate.
    Like Button Tag Missing: og:type is missing. The og:type meta tag is necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high clickthrough rate.
    Like Button Tag Missing: og:image is missing. The og:image meta tag is necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high clickthrough rate.

    Open Graph Warnings That Should Be FixedInferred Property: The 'og:url' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Inferred Property: The 'og:title' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Inferred Property: The 'og:description' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Inferred Property: The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    Hi angieedw,
    neither of these fields are strictly required to have a workinge Facebook Like button (Facebook Share button is deprecated, you shouldn't use it). To control better your Facebook shares and address the warnings you cite, you can use an Open Graph plugin for WordPress; this functionality is not directly managed by our plugin.
