Support » Fixing WordPress » [Plugin: Quick Post Widget] can't upload "more" tag

  • Hello,
I am very happy with this widget which perfectly fits my need. Unfortunately, I need to sort to problems in order to be able to use it.

    1) uploading problem :
When I try to apload a file using the visual editor (with the small iamge icon) and follow the all process, at the point where it should upload the file I get this message :

“Echec d’pload de fichier – verifier vos permissions pour ‘/homez.305/rondpoinq/www/basesverbales/wp-content/uploads/admin/images/’.”
    (I am French)
I understand that is has to do with authorizations but I should do and where to have the required permission (I am using filezilla, but I am not a programme at all and I am afraid to write wrong code in the wrong place)

    2) “more” tag.
I am using this blog as a support to my teatching work, so the blog has a public part and a private part (for me and my student). To do so I use the widget “WP-members” which requires to use the “more” tag for registered users only access. Unfortunalety in the “Quick-post Widget” visual editor there is everything but the tool to insert the “more” tag. Is there a way to customize the editor in order to have insert “more” tag button ? (same question for a google docs embedder although I guess it might be slightly more complicated to do).

last remark : like other people, I think it would be great to have a simpler way for users of the “Quick-post Widget” to upload images and video files, cause the point to use this great great widget is specifically to make it easy to members not familiar with the whole wordpress environment to participate in the blog.

Many many many thanks in advance for your help and congratulation for this beautiful work.

    My site

    Camille
