[Plugin: Quick Post Widget] Anonymous submissions

    Hi,

I like this plugin and can confirm that it works for me with no issues.

My usage, which is to allow anonymous submissions with no access to the back end, could do with two enhancements:

    1. Integration of some human test, like a captcha or math problem (or something) to cut down on bot spam. I’m assuming that would be a problem, and holding the submissions for moderation would mean sorting the good submissions out of all the spam.

    2. An option to strip all html out of the submission. Right now, even with the visual editor disabled, html tags are accepted and rendered. An anchor tag wrapping a web address turns it into a clickable link. That’s got to be some kind of security issue for untrusted contributors.

Another really useful feature would be an option to limit the submission to x number of characters.

I don’t know if there is any interest in supporting my usage, but this plugin lends itself to it.

    Thanks

I’d love it if people who are not logged in could only post Text.
