Yes it is. I will add this into the 1.3 release.

I will probably be committing that release by tomorrow, once I give it a good testing.

    Hi owcv,

I am almost ready to release QW 1.3, and since you’re one of the most active QW users I was wondering how many Queries you have created?

The new version has some significant changes in the way filters act in the QW edit interface and will break your existing queries.

So I’m essentially wondering if you’re ok with editing your queries and re-adding filters, or if I should work on an upgrade script.

This will be the most significant change to the internal workings of the system for a while, and I will handle upgrades in the future.

Disregard that last post, I went ahead and included an upgrade script. Your queries should upgrade fine automatically.

BTW, now adding filters is just like adding fields.

I just upgraded and everything seems to be fine! 🙂
    Thanks for your efforts!

…but now filters don’t work properly anymore??! They are not linked and when I click on them there are only checkboxes for post-types, categories and so on, but I can’t choose what post-type or category… 🙁

hmm.. ok, then maybe there is an issue with my upgrade script.

I tested it on a dev site and thought everything was working.

So, when you edit a query in the filters area you should see 2 links at the top for Add Filter, Rearrange Filter. Beneath those are the lists of filters on this query. When you click on a filter name in that list, does it not open a form for that specific filter?

Could you take a screenshot of your query edit page after clicking on a filter’s name and link me to it?

Also, could you tell me which browser you’re using?

Another option (if at all reasonable) would be to remove all the filters from your queries and re-add them.

Finally, I can take a look at your site directly if you want and repair any damage the upgrade may have caused.

My personal email is jonathan at daggerhart dot com if you decide you would like me to take a look at the site directly. You can make me a temporary admin account and I can take a look and fix anything i find, then you can delete the account.

Sorry about the problems. We’ll get them taken care of.

It is a browser-issue. I used Firefox. In Internet Explorer everything works fine and I can click to add filters and specify them as you described.

Great! Can you tell me which version of firefox you were using? I would like to update the code to support as many browsers as reasonable.

    FF8

Btw. every time I create a new query that isn’t finished yet, I get this PHP warning:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/query-wrangler/query.inc on line 90

I have no problem with it, but maybe some user might think this is an serious error and therefore avoids to use this wonderful plugin!

Thanks for the error. It will be fixed in the next release.

FYI: The problem is in the preview of an empty query. It’s not a critical issue.
