I’m becoming mad trying to make a blog multilingual.
I’ve installed qtranslate but there are some issues that I can’t solve
1) The template I use (HATCH) let the bio of each user (throught the admin panel) visibile in the blog when I click into the “author” link, in the bottom of the page. There’s no other way to see the text and info of each author but this.
The problem is that the admin bio it’s not translable, as normal posts, from the user panel. Is there a way to let the system to translate also this section?
2) It was very simple to translate posts, pages, categories etc.
But till now I can’t manage to let the other stuff in the web site to be translated, e.g. I want the word “Authors” and “Categories” translated in italian.
I’ve tryed everything, I’ve uploaded the it_IT files into wp-content\languages root and hatch\languages root, checked with poedit the files, and verified that the translations for those terms are present. But there’s no way to show it.
Can someone help me?
PS by now I’ve uninstalled qtranslate
