  • I am having the same trouble.

If you visit https://www.instagram.com/developer/ where at the top a recent development (enacted Dec 11th) where they seem to be turning off access to public images on Instagram. Since this particular plugin does not use the Instagram API, that requires a key to access data, then it was probably relying on the publicly available data to pull in the newest images. This particular plugin author has not posted any message about the lack of image newness. At least, this is my understanding at this time…

Please keep me posted if I discover a solution.

    I have the same pb,

But I notice that it works on your website now : how did you fix it ?

    Thanks !

@carowordpress this plugin never used the Instagram API, instead the data are pulled from your public profile or public hashtags. Best way to check if your user or hashtag will work with this plugin is to open them in incognito mode in your browser.

@atelierbuco1 I used a different plugin for the time being, but it isn’t as good as this one.

@jetonr Any update as to why this was happening? Is there a fix or update that fixes it?

We have the same trouble on our website. The plugin worked perfectly until two months ago, then it started to make enormous amounts of copies in the media library and stopped update photos from Instagram. I use the latest version. I hope there is a solution in sight, otherwise I have to use another plugin 🙁

Will work on it on the next fix.
