# [Plugin: ProPlayer] Default sizes not working

 * I’ve gone into ProPlayer’s settings page and set my dimensions to 540 width by
   398 height. But whenever I insert a video into a post, it gives me 530 x 253,
   thus ignoring what I entered under “Defaults”.
 * Anyone know why it’s doing this, or what the fix is? I fixed it on one site by
   editing the proplayer.php file (addOptions function), but if there’s a way without
   having to do that I’d like to know. Thanks!

   inline syntax too? Can u try:
 *     ```
       [pro-player width="100" height="40"]....[/pro-player]
       ```

 * I had the same problem only up until a few minutes ago, self resolved in a few
   hours after I installed I suppose (?)
