Proper Network Activation
[resolved] Didn't work for me. (7 posts)

I network enabled this plugin, then tried a network activate, and it did not seem to fix the problem I was having with network activate. The problem is the one you would expect: doing a regular activate of a plugin (Subscribe2 in this case) worked fine, but a network activate didn't actually activate it for all blogs.

However, I tried the "Mass Activate" function of Plugin Commander which actually did activate it on every blog.

I have also been testing Plugin Commander. Just curious, what version of WordPress are you running, I can't manage to get it working on my WP 3.0.3

3.0.1. I had to put plugin commander in wp-content/plugins to make it work (not mu-plugins).

I have WordPress 3.1.3 with Network enabled.
    I have subscribe2 plugin v6.3.

I can't "network activate" the subscribe2 plugin. It doesn't work.
    I will try plugin-commander.

What exactly happens when you try to network-activate it?

Do you see the additional yellow notice bar?

    Thanks for answering so fast.

Sorry, it was my mistake. I am extending the plugin for my own purporses.
The original plugin (v6.3) is working very well on WordPress 3.1.3 with network enabled on a production enviroment with more than 150 subblogs.

    Thanks all for the help.

    Cheers from Barcelona.
