Support » Plugin: Promotion Slider » [Plugin: Promotion Slider] [raw][/raw] appears before content of page

  • Resolved wschaefer1

    I have two questions.

After I put the shortcode [promoslider] in the content of my page and take a look at the page…[raw][/raw] appears at the top and all the copy is bunched up. What is wrong?

The other question is probably pretty dumb, but do you have to make a promotion for each photograph you want in the slider? I made a promotion for a slider, set the feature image, added the other photos in the content, but nothing shows up except the feature image. Plus no controls show.

    Thank you in advance.

Yes, you do have to create a promotion for each image you want in the slider. Only the featured images appear in the slider. Anything you put in the content area will display on the page that a user is taken to after clicking on the image in the slider. You can disable or alter the default linking using the settings on the promotion editing page.

Anytime you need help with the plugin, just click on the ‘Help’ button in the top right corner of the WordPress admin when you are on a plugin page. I put in contextual help to provide more clarity.

As far as your first question, I am not entirely sure what is going on. Do you have a link to the page where this is happening?

I am also having this error, but I am in maintenance mode, so I can’t show you exactly. Here is an example of the code though. It is only showing up this way in the column of the site with the promotion plugin:
