(Just giving feedback here...) This is IMHO one of the must-have plugins for any WP installation. It can significantly reduce server load in many cases, but most importantly, it contributes in a feedback cycle to keep the most voluminous bad bot traffic on a tight leash for many fellow bloggers and web admins out there.

Thanks so much for updating the HTTP:BL pluging, Thaya! What I especially love about this version is that it actually gives human-readable info in the log table shown on the plugin options (settings) page, instead of the quasi quad-IP number format. Now you can immediately recognize what type of creepy crawlies you're dealing with. And another improvement, albeit a "semantic" one, is moving the options to the Settings page, instead of the Plugins as was the case with Jan's version.

Hi guys. This plugin is no longer supported/updated as I have joined my
development efforts with Jan Stepien and his original http:BL plugin. Please use http:BL plugin instead: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/httpbl/. Thank you!
