Support » Plugins and Hacks » [Plugin: Profiler] Using ModRewrite to use pretty permalinks

  • This is a great plugin and does almost exactly what I want.

However, I’d rather it display using pretty links than with the query string. I’ve been playing around with ModRewrite and my .htaccess file. I’ve tried various permutations of this but none of them have worked:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^commenter/([^/]*)$ /commenter/?user=$1 [L]

I think my problem might be that I’m stepping on the WordPress ModRewrite rules somewhere with that, but I’m not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I am not very familiar with mod rewrite. Sorry.

I have been working on including this with the plugin by default. I will post here when/if that happens.
