  • Hi Matthias,

    I’ve had a quick look with Firebug and – as expected – the plugin is *not* producing any margin. It does set the height for the MTLI image to 16px, but as the link icons themselves are 16px high, that is correct.

    However, your theme *does* add margin….

    The file: http://www.blitzrad.de/wp-content/themes/zenon-lite/style.css
    adds the following rule:

    .aligncenter {
        display: block;
        margin: 5px auto;
    }

    This adds a 5px top and bottom margin to the poster images, which causes the 5px margin between the poster image and the link.

    If that is not what you mean, maybe you can upload a screenshot of the page with the plugin deactivated, so I can see what is.

    Hope this helps.

    Juliette

    Hi Matthias,

    Just wondering if my previous reply helped you solve this or if there’s anything else I can do to help you fix this.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Hi Matthias,

    Could you let me know if this issue is now closed ? And if so, mark it as resolved please ?

    Hi,

    sorry, was away for some time

    well, I linked the 1st image, the other ones are not linked and that’s what happens: http://www.blitzrad.de/archiv/medienarchiv/

    thank you

    Hi Matthias,

    Thanks for linking the image, now I can actually see what you mean.

    Just wondering: did you add the ‘hasimg’ class manually to the <a> link ? or was that done automatically somewhere ?

    Anyways, I believe that if you would add the following rule to your theme’s css file, the issue will be solved:

    .mtli_attachment {
        height: auto;
        min-height: 16px;
    }

    As this is a situation I haven’t come across before, I’m a bit wary of adding this rule to the plugin itself as IE doesn’t always like min-height and I wouldn’t want to cause (new) issues for other users.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Juliette,

    I didn’t add “hasimg” manually, I’ll take a look with firebug…

    Unfortunately, the code snippet doesn’t change anything, but thank you for your help!

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

    It didn’t change anything ? That’s very strange… I tested it with Firebug on your website and it worked for me…

    Only thing I can think of is that your theme’s stylesheet has a priority which is set too low and loads before the MTLI stylesheet (which would then overrule it). But that’s quite another issue.

    Actually, I just checked an confirmed my suspicion: your theme’s stylesheet is loaded before the MTLI stylesheet.

    If you set the priority for the theme’s stylesheet enqueue action to something like 12, you should be fine.

    thank you, I’ll try it
