    Hi Jack,

    Perhaps you have not created a post or page in the history class?

    Complies with the procedure:

    – create a category [X]
    – go to the plugin settings and make it private
    – create at least one article (private) and assign it to category [X]

    When you click to go to a login category [X] then appears

    Thanks for your reply.

    I followed your steps and created the category and article(private), but as you said “click to go to a login category[X]”, where is that ?
    Where can I click ?

    Do you mean that clicking the category “History” ? If it is, I let the category “History” showing on the page, but when I click that, the page show” page not found….” message ?

    Tu need créer un lien avec l’id de la catégorie ( ?cat=X ) ou (?category_name=X) et normalement ça fonctionne

    You Need to link with the id of the category (? cat = X) or (? category_name = X) and normally it works

    Where can I set the link (? cat = X) or (? category_name = X) ?

    In the add new post area or somewhere ?

    I used the address you give to me. The website opened the “page not found” page? as I said in my previous messages.

    Am shure that not a bug, just a bad manipulation. Give me in private or not the url of your wp website and i found the good way …

    Hi!
    I have a similar problem. I installed the plugin and I have the additional setting “Private Categories” in the Settings but when I click on it I get a new window with

    Not found
    The requested URL /wp-admin/private-categories/options.php was not found on this server.

    Hi Mikky,

    i dont understant the problem… am to in WP 3.11 and my setting link “Private Categories” correctly work and target is: wp-admin/options-general.php?page=private-categories/options.php

    I uploaded it to the wp-content/plugin folder

    Sorry, it was a simple mistake url that I could not see… ouuuh!
