[resolved] Place button within text editor - Shortcode? (5 posts)

    I'd like to place the button Manually within a post or a page, but not via the template. I want to place it via the editor so it can appear only on certain pages or posts. I tried copying the PHP code but it doesn't work. Is there a shortcode?

    Thank you

    You can achieve this by using the general "Website" code.

    Copy/Paste the snippet into the content. http://www.printfriendly.com/button

    If you'd like something cleaner for the author to place, you could put the javascript in the template, and have them only include the link.

    In Tempalte
    <script src="http://cdn.printfriendly.com/printfriendly.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

    Include in Content
    <a href="#" onclick="window.print(); return false;">Print and PDF></a>

    Great plugin. I've used the snippet code from the printfriendly site as I only want the Icon on certain pages.
    How can I get the print icon to the top of the page?

    This is the code I've used:
    <script src="http://cdn.printfriendly.com/printfriendly.js" type="text/javascript"></script><img style="border:none;" src="http://cdn.printfriendly.com/button-print-blu20.png" alt="Print Friendly and PDF"/>

    If you're manually placing the button in your template, here's instructions showing how to put the print button above or below the post http://j.mp/nNl3dA.

    If you don't need the manual option, you can put the button above or below the content in the PrintFriendly plugin settings.
