[Plugin: Posts 2 Posts] Possible to modify one post_type within another post_type admin UI?

  • Using your posts-to-posts plugin is working perfect.

    I have 2 post_types, (movies, actors).

I related actors to movies in my functions file, so now when I am on the admin UI ‘edit movies’, I can see the meta box for selecting an actor. I believe this is exactly what your plugin is designed to do.

What I would like to see:
If the actor does not exist, give the user the ability to add a new actor to the meta box, while still on the movies, add/edit movie admin UI.

The way it is now, if the actor does not exist, then the user has to leave the movies admin UI, and go to the actors UI, add in the actor, and then return to the movies UI to add the movie.

Even though actors contains multiple fields, ‘name, image, description’, for now it would be enough to allow the user to simply add the actors name field in the movies UI, and then have to go back at a later time to update the actors image, description. That’s not optimal, but it would be a great start.

Was thinking some type of popup box would work ok for this.

Is this possible at the moment?

    thnx
