[Plugin: PostLists] Can’t use %tag%

  • Hi – I am using postlists on my site and for the most part it is working great. However in one list I want the tags for each post to be displayed along with the title. Teh documentation says this code – %tag% – will display the tags “if tag is configured for the list.” I tried using the code and it doesn’t return anything at all. Does anyone know what and how it needs to be “configured”. I tried to find something to tell about this in the documentation and nothing.
    Thanks

  • The placeholder %tag% is only supported if you have selected a tag (”Show only posts with this tag”), the posts of the list have to have assigned (”if tag is configured for the list, the tag name”). If you select a tag in the configuration of the list, the placeholder will be replaced to the name of this tag. This is because if a post has multiple tags assigned, what tag should i use? Maybe in future versions i will make a placeholder like %the_tags% that prints out all the tags linked to their archive.
