When Postie is getting a new post via email the following PHP warning is shown in error.log:
[Thu Mar 08 08:40:13 2012] [warn] [client w.x.y.z] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: tempnam(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File() is not within the allowed path(s): (...) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/postie/postie-functions.php on line 1280
(I stripped out the actual directories which are given in PHP config.)
I’m running PHP 5.3 in pretty much standard settings and open_basedir enabled.
But I’m sure there is another problem, as the post is posted in the blog and is shown there.
Does it have to do with an attached image to the mail (the image is also shown correctly in the post)?
