# Plugin Postie: Formatting punctuation issues

 * I’m using WP2.5 and Postie 1.1.1, when Postie is sent an email with certain punctuation,
   say quotation marks, they get all messed up. “Hello” would turn into 1Hello2,
   where 1&2 are superscripts.
 * Anyone know if this is a Postie or WP issue or know how to resolve it?
 * Thanks!

 * I should note that the person sending the email is from Australia, and I’m in
   the US. My emails show up fine.
