  • Resolved Jan Viljoen

Hi, must admit that your plugin “Post2pdf-converter” fulfill a needs that I had for a long time.I have tested your plugin and it lives up to most of my expectations. I particularly like the Text HTML footer function, but it seems to me that I don’t really get the hang of it. I have coded a footer in HTML that I want to be exported as part of the post/page pdf footer (see screen shot).
However, when I copied the code to the “add signature” box, despite many efforts, the best that I can get is…. (see screen shot)

It seems that code are inserted once the changes are saved.

    Please advice.

Thanks for the plugin, it makes my life a lot easier.

    Best regards

    Hi, Janvil san

Did you get a error when the changes were saved?
e.g.: Invalid value. Settings could not be saved….

If you can, please send your code copied into “add signature” box to me.

    Contact form:

    Thanks for you quick reply.

When saving the the changes… no error messages are displayed.

No problem sending you the code…
    <img src=”×16/AltanaESP.png”> AltanaESP Pty Ltd<img src=”×16/AltanaCommunity.png”> AltanaCommunity<img src=”×16/AltanaCorporate.png”> AltanaMonitor<img src=”×16/AltanaAcademy.png”> AltanaAcademy

I am not an expert on using code, but the above does the trick in HTML boxes.

    Thank for your trouble.

    Hi Janvil san,

I don’t know why, but I found some images can’t be convert to PDF and disappear in created PDF file.

As far as I know, Creative Commons License logo causes this issue.×31.png

When I tested, your 4 icons(images) also caused same issue.

To resolve this isuue, please convert your 4 png file to jpeg format.
(You can convert jpeg format to png format again.)
But it doesn’t mean that this plugin doesn’t support png format.

And, To line up images on same row, you need to add height and width attributes into <img> tags.

    <img src="" height="16" width="16" /> <a href="">AltanaESP Pty Ltd</a><img src="" height="16" width="16" /> <a href="">AltanaCommunity</a><img src="" height="16" width="16" /> <a href="">AltanaMonitor</a><img src="" height="16" width="16" /> <a href="">AltanaAcademy</a>

Thanks a lot for your input redcocker, I am able to get the exact “footer” display I was aiming at. Although, I can really kick myself for not considering the file type issue of png/jpg as you indicated. Never to old to learn!
