 * Post Updated displays the last modified date and time for a post (that is, if
   later than the original post date). Useful for providing a “last updated�
   flag to posts.

 * Not a problem. Your version is more configurable anyways. My version only allows
   you to pass a date/time format.

   space before the beginning php tag or after the ending one.

 * Interesting, i did something similar to this with quicktags. It just inserts 
   a div that surrounds the new content and automatically adds the time to it, check
