[Resolved] [Plugin: Post Types Order] upgrade to wp3.2.1 causes Undefined Variable notices

  • Hi,
    I just upgraded to WP 3.2.1 and I began getting the following notices at the top of my site. Can you tell me how to correct the problem? I appreciate any help!

    Notice: Undefined variable: in_same_cat in /wp-content/plugins/post-types-order/post-types-order.php on line 155

    Notice: Undefined variable: posts_in_ex_cats_sql in /wp-content/plugins/post-types-order/post-types-order.php on line 203

    Notice: Undefined variable: in_same_cat in /wp-content/plugins/post-types-order/post-types-order.php on line 229

    Notice: Undefined variable: posts_in_ex_cats_sql in /wp-content/plugins/post-types-order/post-types-order.php on line 278

    Thanks

    Is the WP_DEBUG constant set as TRUE within your wp-config.php ?

    Thanks for the reply.

    The WP_DEBUG is set to FALSE. However, I did implement the Child theme. And I see that was a line within the functions.php file that said

    error_reporting(E_ALL);

    When I commented out this line, the errors and warnings went away. I got the idea from a different post.

    Should I be concerned that these errors will slow down or otherwise negatively effect the performance or security of the site?

    In fact these are notices and not errors. These will not slow down the speed or affect any of the site aspects.
    Anyway we just updated the code so please make sure you get the last version to fix that.
