Plugin: Post Password Token not working

I had been using the Post Password Token plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-password-plugin/installation/

and it was working great until I upgraded to to WordPress 3.4. I have contacted the maker of the plugin but havent heard anything and I hope someone might be able to identify the problem for me.

What this plugin does is it adds an encryption token to a password protected post. the post is password protected and require thems to login if a user comes to the direct link, but if they are given the encrypted link as created by this plugin they can log automatically into the page. since upgrading even when I go to the encrypted link it still shows that a password is required. please help. thanx in advance.
