    Hi, 12sp
    i got the problem .
Its working for some posts due to category from the admin panel settings of post of the day plugin you have to tick all the categories then it will work fine. 🙂

Thanks. Too bad it can’t handle the top category. It would be nice if there was a select all option.

You want post of the day from your complete database or from all categories then why its too bad, actually what you want??

    monika11, I don’t understand what you wrote.

Maybe I can explain myself better.

Here is an example of some categories:
    WordPress > Multisite
    WordPress > Plugins
    WordPress > Troubleshooting

I should be able to select WordPress and it knows to use the subcategories, right now it does not. It hangs on the first twenty or so posts in the top category.

That’s why it would be nice to have a select all option.

You are demanding about the plugins more features .
It does not hangs over first 20 posts.
Categories or subcategories you have to select each of them from admin panel settings.
If you select all categories tick all of them then it will works on complete database posts not only for first 20 posts.

“it would be nice” is not demanding, it is only a request. It is up to the plugin creator to decided to implement or ignore.

I have simply written about an issue I had on two separate sites. For me, it recycled only the first 20 posts, when only selecting the top category. Again if the plugin creator decides to investigate this he/she can.

Ok fine . Now plugin provides that you have select each of categories either main or sub category .
In wordpress fourm there is no reply from weeks and months no developer reply(or plugin creator) .
