 * Hello Dalton.
 * Since this is not clear from the description nor could I find the answer in the
   support forum, I have this question.
 * Q. What is the image/slide buffering & loading strategy implemented in portfolio
   slideshow?
 * Details:
 * What I am concerned to find out is what happens when there are a 100 medium resolution(
   1 MB each) photographs in a slideshow totaling 100 MB – Does the plugin have
   to download all images before it can to begin play the slideshow or does the
   plugin download images as ordered & display them as they become available (i.
   e. Lazy Loading) ?
 * If the plugin does support Lazy Loading, does the plugin also have a Buffering
   strategy to always have at least a couple of images (1, 2 or 3) Before/After
   the Current image being viewed, downloaded & ready to be displayed, so as to
   minimize network delays in Lazy Loading.
 * Or does it not implement any Buffer but just keeps on downloading, all images
   from the current image being viewed, in descending order, and also wrap around
   from the 1st until all are done – but then whappens if the user browses the slideshow
   manually from the middle & keeps browsing it backwards?

 * Hello there. I’m ready to push the buy button for the pro version of this plugin.
   I however REALLY need to know the answer to this question before I can do that.
   Can someone please post a reply if they know it? Below is a simplified version
   of the same question above:
 * Does the portfolio slideshow plugin have to download & load ALL images in that
   gallery before the user gets to see the 1st image? Or does the user start to
   see the images as & when they become available when network speed is slow like
   on many mobile devices?

 * Alright I answered ONE of the above questions by testing it myself: NO to my
   last question – All images DO NOT need to be availble for slideshow to start/
   play however, if the connection speed is slow the slidshow overtakes the stream
   of available images & display’s blanks as I’ve reported here – [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-portfolio-slideshow-bug-slideshow-does-not-wait-for-images-to-be-availble-keeps-moving-forward](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-portfolio-slideshow-bug-slideshow-does-not-wait-for-images-to-be-availble-keeps-moving-forward).
 * Also, it appears to me that the plugin is downloading ALL images in the slidshow
   if it has been started to “play”. This could present a problem on some browsers&
   platforms especially mobile where connections can be slow and the buffer to hold
   all that in memory may be limited & the user might experience browser crashes.
 * So, there needs to be some kind of smarter yet configurable buffering & loading
   algorithm to be implemented by portfolio slideshow which I’ve described as “Lazy
   Loading”.
 * Please comment if you plan on fixing these issues anytime soon.
 * Thanks in Advance.
