[Plugin: Popular Widget] Latest update (to 1.5.3) doesn't limit Recent Posts | WordPress.org

I had Recent Posts set to 5, after the update, it is showing 10. Tried changing the count to 4 just to see if it would change anything, and is still showing 10. Deactivated and reactivated the plugin, same result. Any help appreciated.

This may be a clue — I had my “Blog pages show at most” set to 10 in my Reading settings, when I changed that to 5, Recent Posts also displayed 5. Seems like its getting the number of posts to display from the Reading settings and not the number entered on the Widgets page.
