[Plugin: Polldaddy Polls & Ratings] Polldaddy put itself in the frontpage footer

  • Hi!

    I started to try this plugin, it has nice looking polls.
    I created one poll and added it in a post, it looked good, like it should.
    When I then go to my frontpage I see the same poll in the bottom of my page and I don’t know what to do.

    I really want to use this plugin, but if it doesn’t work correctly, I can’t use it until it is fixed.

    Anyone had the similar problem as me and have a fix for it?

    I’m having the same problem. Anybody help?

    I’m using a ProudTheme called Reporter with WP 3.2.1.

    I ‘fixed’ this by adding the following to my theme’s stylesheet:

    .PDS_Poll {
    	display: none;
    }

    This hid it from the homepage and it still shows up on the post page.

    Hi, sorry about the delay in dealing with this. I have updated the plugin with an option that should help you.

    Some themes parse the posts content and the plugin loads the poll shortcode in the page footer, expecting the post content to be shown. This isn’t always the case however with some themes.

    I have added an option Load Shortcodes Inline to the Polls & Ratings settings to allow you set the plugin to load the poll javascript inline rather than in the footer. This should fix your problem.

    That sounds good!
    When will this updated version be released?

    This update is available with version 2.0.10, which is live now.
