  • I should mention that there doesn’t seem to be a method to bypass Event Manager’s permalink slug rewrite. So there’s no easy solution of disabling that feature in the plugin.

Making the posts of a custom post type visible in the RSS/ATOM Feeds is maybe a general problem. It seems that are typically not displayed in the main Feeds. If you search for “wordpress custom post type feed” then you will get a lot of results like this .
If you add your custom post types via own code in the functions.php file then you might add such a snippet. If you are using a plugin to add the custom post type then you search once more in the settings of this plugin.
I hope that one of these ways will work for you.
In my opinion a plugin which main purpose it is to add custom types to a blog should also offer an option to include the posts into the feed requests.

On the other hand WP offers special custom post type Feeds:

@ntm, thanks very much! I think I’m headed in the right direction now based on the custom post type feeds from the second link, because the following works to pull in the podcasts attached to Event Manager posts:

@uwusampath: Please open a new topic/thread and describe the problem there:

It would be helpfully if I could take look at this not working RSS Feed. Please, tell me the name of your blog or the URL of the RSS Feed.

On a second thought: Have published a podcast episode with podPress? If you have not done this then the podcast Feed has no content and a feed reader or the feed validator will tell you that the feed is not valid.

But let us discuss this matter in a separate thread.
