So, I started taking them off but realized that if our site was hacked that the files in the paratheses are the wp original ones that has been deactivated. * I restored a back up from 2 wks ago. * And those files are still there… * I have once before been put on a server by someone. So I resorted to Manual and completely screwed up. Important: I had copied *some* of the 4.7 files. * A small number of files, including /wp-admin.php, did not upload because the file was busy/in use. * The site has since been restored and was displaying fine, though I couldn’t get to the admin login page (error). I’ve since copied (FTP’ed) the remaining files( as advised here -> [https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress](https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress)). * There were errors relating to files that weren’t there (in /wp-content), but those files have been uploaded and no longer exist.
