    No idea what you mean. You can do pretty much what you want with your photos: http://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/500px/. The example shows images pulled for a specific user.

    But I can’t specify a specific portfolio for a user. I have images organized into a portfolio that are like sets in Flickr. What I want to do is create a wordpress gallery that has images from a specific portfolio. I can’t see an easy way to do this.

    That is really a limitation of 500px, not Photonic. 500px.com’s API doesn’t offer you any way (easy or otherwise) to retrieve portfolios. Till a few weeks back they only let you retrieve photos based on some criteria, and users. Just recently they added support for blogs. Until they offer a way for third parties to retrieve information from their site, there isn’t much any plugin can do. You can check out the developer API here: http://developer.500px.com/docs/photos-index. As you can see the limitation is on 500px.
