I am hesitant to add the url here as it is a live site and we plan on doing plenty of work on it in the coming weeks, but if anyone would like to take a look. Get in touch.

I am interested in seeing how your campaign turned out. [ email redacted ] Thanks! =)

We don’t currently have a live campaign. We have a few past campaigns listed though. What is happening that you need help with?

I just cant figure out how to make this work
    we are working on gojournalism.ca
and we need the fund page to show goals and the progress through paypal.
I installed the plugin. It creates a causes & campaign list but is there anything else to do that I am missing ? to bring it on the page..

A good place to start would be to look at the sample cause created by the plugin. Assuming you have left the personal fundraiser options set to their defaults, if you navigate to /causes/sample-cause/ on your site, you should see a sample cause that you can fill out to create a sample campaign. One thing to keep in mind with this plugin is the concept of causes and campaigns. Think of campaigns as fundraisers and causes as templates for fundraisers. You use a cause to define what a fundraiser will look like and what fields it will collect from users who are creating fundraisers. When you navigate to a particular cause (eg /causes/sample-cause, this is the screen where your users will fill out the information about the fundraiser they want to create.

Also, familiarize yourself with the shortcodes here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/personal-fundraiser/faq/

The shortcodes are used to display all the data for your causes/campaigns

So, to show the goal, use: [pfund-gift-goal]
To show amount raised to date, use: [pfund-gift-tally]
To show a progress bar, use: [pfund-progress-bar]

Thank you so much please please please bear with me since I am so so so new to wordpress.

Do you have a full documentation that I am missing. I cant find it anywhere.

How do you make the user form appear?
I get the causes & campaigns idea.
But how do we make it appear for a user or a guest to register. Like it appears in the screenshots.

    Thank you in advance!
We are working on a school project, this plugin is a blessing.!

    In the plugin settings, http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=personal-fundraiser-settings

Make sure the “Allow users to register” check box is ticked. This will popup the register box for user who are not registered and logged in.

In order to have the create fundraiser form appear for the user, make sure that the [pfund-edit] shortcode is in the cause template.

    Hope that helps.

Oh thanks so so much. I feel like I am getting closer.
I had issues with permalinks but now its pretty permalinks.
But it only shows an empty campaigns page with comments off & no comments.

    What am I doing wrong?
It still doesnt allow a user to add a campaign…
