[Plugin: People Lists] Data doesn't show when there is html above it

This is a great plugin but when I add html (a table) above the People Lists shortcode on a WordPress page the People Lists data does not display. There is just a space where the date should appear. When I take away the table the People Lists data displays again.

Is there a fix for this please?
